What You’ll Do

As a key member of the sales organization, you’ll serve as both a technical advisor and trusted partner to
customers, helping them understand how the company’s capabilities can best support their operations.
Working closely with the Director of Sales, you’ll play a hands-on role in driving business across multiple
units while ensuring customer satisfaction from order to delivery.
Customer Engagement & Sales Growth
 Partner with customers to understand needs and recommend the right technical solutions.
 Support two core business units while contributing to sales initiatives across other divisions.
 Build strong, lasting relationships by delivering prompt, effective, and knowledgeable
service.
Technical Expertise & Support
 Review inquiries, establish pricing, and develop process plans for steel ingot and billet
production.
 Stay current on steelmaking and downstream processes to serve as a technical resource for
customers and sales staff.
 Assist in order planning, scheduling, and product disposition, ensuring smooth execution
from inquiry to delivery.
Operational Excellence
 Oversee customer orders and deliveries while managing WIP and inventory levels.
 Track product and order profitability to support strategic decision-making.
 Investigate customer claims in coordination with Metallurgy and drive them to resolution.
 Identify opportunities to improve the sales and customer service process and put ideas into
action.
Leadership & Collaboration
 Step in to advise and support the Sales Department in the absence of the Director of Sales.
 Work closely with internal teams to ensure the highest standards of service and safety are
upheld.

What We’re Looking For

 Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required; Metallurgy or Materials Science strongly
preferred.
 3–5 years of sales or marketing experience in the steel or metals industry is a plus.
 Solid technical foundation with the ability to translate complex processes into customer-focused
solutions.
 Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
 Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally, nationally, and internationally (25–30%).
