Position Overview
A premier, multidisciplinary engineering and architecture firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (P.E.) to serve as a technical authority on complex commercial infrastructure and building systems. Core Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Design
Lead the design, technical development, detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for complex commercial projects.
System Integration
Oversee the cohesive integration of electrical systems alongside civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
Project Oversight & Quality Control
Perform quality control reviews at key milestones and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Provide engineering oversight during construction, including site visits and submittal reviews.
Mentorship & Collaboration
Mentor junior engineering staff and partner with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
Qualifications
Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
9–18 years of overall experience; the source job description specifically identifies 10–15 years of engineering design and project management experience.
Specific experience with MEP and Fire Prevention systems in the commercial sector.
Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary up to $160,000.
