Here is the job description:
Senior Analog Design Manager
Per the hiring manager (VP of IC Design): “We are looking for a senior hands-on analog design manager with at least 10 years of analog-mixed-signal IC design experience and expertise designing SerDes ICs. They will manage a team of 3-4 designers/layout engineers. We use clocking gearboxes running up to 8Gbps.”
Our Company is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Analog Design Manager to lead the development of high-performance, low-power analog and mixed-signal circuits for our next-generation optical interconnect solutions. In this role, you’ll guide a talented team of engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional groups to deliver innovative silicon solutions that power the future of data communication. This is a unique opportunity to shape cutting-edge technology at the intersection of analog design and photonics.
Requires:
- MS/PhDEE and at least ten (10+) years of analog circuit design experience from specs to architecture, design, bench testing and all the way to high volume production
- Deep understanding of analog/mixed-signal and RF circuit design in deep submicron CMOS technology
- Good working experience with advanced analog design platforms
- Experience with high-speed SerDes
- Highly desirable to have experience designing optical transceiver components such as TIA and laser drivers
- Expertise with Cadence design tool suite
- Ability to supervise layout designers and backend verification engineers
- Good knowledge of analog and mixed signal verification methodologies
- Ability to own a complete chip tapeout
