Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership and overall direction for heavy civil and transportation construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. The role includes managing public agency and private land development projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project proposals, budgets, staffing, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Develop project work plans and assign responsibilities.
• Manage subcontract awards, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Coordinate permits, drawings, and project submittals.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve project issues.
• Prepare and present project progress reports.
• Monitor project costs and conduct financial reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Lead project closeout activities and final documentation.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in heavy civil, transportation, or land development.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction methods, production processes, and resource coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic decision-making and risk assessment abilities.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel as required.
