Job Description:

This person will work at a brand-new plant that will eventually producing custom high purity
chemicals (PPT) many of which are used to produce computer chips; these chemicals are
currently being produced at a pilot scale. The plan is to produce a larger variety of these
chemicals and reduce the number of imported chemicals in their huge catalogue. This person
will scale up products from pilot scale to full scale, they will be involved in process setup and
specing out/purchasing new equipment. Once this plant is up and running, the eventual vision
for this role is that this person will run this plant, be involved in all the hiring, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

 B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry minimum, advanced degree preferred
 10+ years of experience in scale up of chemicals, ideally higher purity chemicals, using
reaction, distillation, etc
 Must know how to design, specify and install equipment
 Previous leadership experience is a big plus, but not a must-have
 The ideal candidate will be able to help them anticipate hurdles that they are going to
face when it comes to scale up
