Position Summary
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of plant operations, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and financial results. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for a manufacturing facility specializing in vibration monitoring technology, including production, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality, and EHS. The Plant Manager is accountable for P&L performance, resource optimization, and KPI attainment and serves on the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operations Leadership
Lead day-to-day plant operations to achieve targets for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
Ensure consistent execution of standardized manufacturing processes and best practices.
Drive operational efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery performance. - Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth, cost optimization, and capacity expansion.
Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish and monitor KPIs for accountability and improvement.
Provide labor and productivity insights for strategic decision-making. - Financial & Business Management
Maintain accountability for plant P&L, budgeting, cost control, and capital investments.
Develop and manage site budgets, forecasts, and capital projects.
Support long-term strategic planning and business objectives. - People Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing multi-functional team.
Foster accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Build organizational capability through succession planning and talent development.
Promote consistent leadership aligned with company values. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.
Collaborate with Sales to align operations with customer expectations and service levels.
Serve as a key liaison between plant operations and executive leadership. - Quality, Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Provide leadership oversight for quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and improvement initiatives.
Promote and sustain a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
Experience / Background
10–15 years of progressive manufacturing or production experience.
5–8 years of manufacturing leadership experience, such as Operations Manager or Plant Manager.
Experience leading operations in a complex manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement experience.
Strong cross-functional experience with internal teams and customers/suppliers.
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
MBA preferred.

The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. The role typically requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, or climbing for 66%+ of each workday. Possible dust exposure may occur. The position may require lifting and/or pushing up to 50 pounds 33%–66% of the time.
