Job Summary

A large, high-volume manufacturing plant in East Tennessee, part of a global corporation, is seeking a Plant Controller to join the plant leadership team. The Plant Controller will be responsible for financial reporting at the plant and divisional levels and will interact with Controllers at other locations throughout the organization. The role is highly visible and includes leadership of two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the plant P&L statement and support financial reporting at plant and divisional levels.
Perform financial analysis to support plant leadership decision-making.
Reconcile the general ledger and ensure financial information is accurate and complete.
Communicate financial results, analysis, and business insights to plant leadership.
Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team.
Lead and develop two direct reports.
Collaborate with Controllers and finance teams at other locations within the global organization.
Support manufacturing operations through timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Required Qualifications

At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing accounting roles.
At least 3 years of experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
Ability to communicate financial information effectively with plant leadership.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
