Job Summary

The Manufacturing/Process Engineer develops, maintains, and improves manufacturing processes while supporting continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, capital projects, process validation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and resolve process issues.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process flows, routings, and standard work.
• Analyze scrap, rework, downtime, and cycle time data.
• Implement process improvements for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Support new product and process introductions.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Reduce waste, scrap, labor inefficiencies, and material costs.
• Lead capital projects including equipment selection, installation, and startup.
• Prepare ROI analyses and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and vendors.
• Support process validation, capability studies, and equipment commissioning.
• Maintain process documentation and train operators.
• Support audits, quality systems, and non-conformance investigations.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 4–7 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Capital project experience.
• Knowledge of process capability, cycle time analysis, and scrap reduction.
• Experience creating work instructions and process documentation.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%
