Job Summary
: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overseeing the development and
implementation of all processes, procedures and systems used in determining the manufacturability of
new product designs from conceptualization to first production runs. Also responsible for coordinating
activities for re-designs, updates and/or improvements to existing products. Looking for a well-rounded
engineer able to work with Fixture Design, Engineering Change-overs, any robotic programming
background is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
· Provide direction in implementing required design specifications for new and existing products.
· Provide direction in implementing required manufacturing programs, processes, and
procedures.
· Provide direction in implementing safety, design layouts, tooling, fixturing, and prototypes.
· Manage departments supporting manufacturing.
· Assist in supporting the implementation of product testing and quality assurance standards.
· Assist with coordinating procurement activities for raw materials and component parts.
· Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
· Provide major project support for all areas as directed by senior management.

Education & Experience:
· Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Process, or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
highly desired, would consider an Associates degree.
· 3-10 years experience in manufacturing, industrial or process engineering.
· Prior experience working with and implementing continuous improvement initiatives including
Lean Manufacturing.
· Prior experience working with BOM’s, routings, and time and motion studies required to set
standards.
· Prior experience with MRP/ERP planning and scheduling processes and procedures.
· Prior experience working with implementing quality assurance programs and procedures.
· Prior experience with sampling and final inspection of finished products.
· Prior experience working with the use of calibration tools/instruments.
