Compensation: $110,000 – $152,000 Per Year + Full benefits and Relocation expense, Direct Hire, No Remote

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support and mentor new engineers through training, reviews and collaboration.
  • Work directly with customers and suppliers to develop and manage designs, requirements, specifications, etc.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum teams through sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, sprint reviews and daily standups.
  • Support engineering in new product development and managing lessons learned.
  • Write C Code to meet functional and technical specifications.
  • Perform peer reviews on all artifacts during the lifecycle of a project.
  • Code compliance to MISRA-C, CERTC and Company coding guidelines.
  • Create and maintain software architecture and detail designs.
  • Support Test Lab functional test requirements.
  • Support manufacturing regarding inline product testing methods, specifications and equipment selection.
  • Investigate alternative suppliers of electronic content for non-directed-buy suppliers for future products.
  • Evaluate, assess and troubleshoot electronics content contained in core product base.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Computer or Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Computer Science or related field
  • Software Project Leadership is preferred
  • Software design experience is preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience, automotive experience is preferred
  • Ability to launch and lead software development with some supervision
  • Ability to work with Global Teams
