joint ventures. CPA or in the process of obtaining their CPA is preferred.

Fixed assets, joint venture and self-insurance accounting experience – all of which are required for this role.

About the Opportunity

Our client, is a highly respected and growing firm is seeking to add a Financial Reporting Lead to its
accounting and finance team. This is a hybrid role.

Primary Responsibilities:

 Provide direction and review for all fixed asset activity handled by the Senior Accountant, including
capitalization, disposals, and depreciation.
 Develop, update, and validate consolidated schedules and capital expenditure summaries used by
leadership and external auditors.
 Handle financial reporting and compliance requirements for several joint venture entities, applying
GAAP and internal standards.
 Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver partner-ready reports that are timely, complete,
and accurate.
 Lead accounting processes for the organization’s self-insured captive, preparing liability and workers’
compensation schedules.
 Coordinate with actuarial, risk management, and other groups to assess reserves, validate assumptions,
and ensure reliability of reported figures.
 Compile supporting documents for quarterly and annual SEC filings and maintain disclosure
checklists in accordance with GAAP requirements.
 Conduct technical research on accounting topics and produce ad hoc reporting when requested.
 Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
 Promote communication, collaboration, and a culture of trust within the team.
 Demonstrate consistent, dependable attendance and alignment with organizational priorities.

What You Bring

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
 At least seven years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
 Advanced Excel capabilities and strong proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite.
 Sound judgment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to
confidentiality.
 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
