Our client is seeking an accomplished Division Order Manager to lead their Division Order and Land
Accounting team. This is a high-impact leadership role that sits at the intersection of Land and Accounting,
ensuring precise financial oversight, accurate recordkeeping, and efficient communication between
departments.

What You’ll Do
Serve as the strategic bridge between Land and Accounting, driving collaboration and maintaining
data accuracy across all systems.
Oversee and approve the Land department’s annual budget, monitor expenditures, and deliver
detailed variance analysis and reporting.
Lead and review financial charge reclassifications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and
transparency.
Direct the creation, verification, and approval of Division of Interest (DOI) records, confirming
consistency with lease, title, and ownership documentation.
Manage ownership changes and maintain comprehensive documentation aligned with internal
standards.
Oversee lease payment processing between Land and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate
execution.
Maintain integrity of data within the company’s land management system, ensuring ownership and
financial records are always current and accurate.
Provide leadership in creating and maintaining owner records, ensuring reliability and consistency of
data across departments.
Partner with Land Administration and Accounting to identify and implement process
improvements that strengthen operational efficiency and accuracy.
Manage audit and compliance activities, ensuring documentation is complete and all inquiries are
met with timely, thorough responses.
Promote a culture of excellence, adaptability, and collaboration while ensuring adherence to company
policies and ethical standards.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of progressive experience in division orders, land administration, or accounting within
the oil and gas industry, including 2+ years in leadership.
Deep understanding of Division of Interests, lease records, and budget management.
Proven expertise in variance analysis, cost classification, and financial oversight.
Strong command of complex oil and gas land principles—including division orders, lease
administration, and ownership transitions.
Advanced proficiency with land data management systems and accounting software.
Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when managing critical financial and ownership data.
Superior written and verbal communication skills for engaging effectively with executives and cross-
functional teams.
High degree of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial and ownership information.
Analytical and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to drive process improvement and ensure
operational integrity.
