Our client is a leading provider of aerospace engineering service solutions, committed to pushing the
boundaries of innovation in the industry. As they continue to expand their operations, our client is seeking
a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to join their team and drive growth in the aerospace domain.
Job Summary:
The Director of Sales – Aerospace will be responsible for leading our sales efforts within the aerospace
engineering service sector. This strategic leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a proven
track record of success in sales management, deep industry knowledge, and exceptional leadership skills.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating
key relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
within the aerospace domain. - Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to
drive results. - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with aerospace customers, suppliers, and partners to
drive business expansion and enhance market presence. - Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new
opportunities and mitigate risks. - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product development,
and operations, to ensure alignment and support sales initiatives. - Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior
management to track progress and make informed decisions. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand
and establish thought leadership in the aerospace sector. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sales processes, enhance customer
satisfaction, and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering services sales leadership roles within the
aerospace industry. - Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market
environment. - Deep understanding of aerospace products, services, technologies, and customer needs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales
team. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport
with diverse stakeholders. - Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop
effective sales strategies. - Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional
customer value. - Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business
objectives.
