Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Scheduler to support engineering and equipment supply projects by developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, this role is responsible for establishing realistic schedules, monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with critical path scheduling, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to keep projects on track. Mining industry experience is highly preferred, while engineering, heavy industrial, construction, and heavy equipment experience are also strong advantages.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using industry best practices and contractual requirements.
• Build, manage, and revise Level 4 resource-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule impacts, and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze schedule performance and provide regular progress reports to Project Managers and leadership.
• Maintain schedule accuracy by incorporating project updates, milestone changes, task completion, and meeting outcomes.
• Coordinate scheduling activities across engineering, procurement, project management, and other project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to support project planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Perform baseline comparisons, forecasting, and what-if schedule analysis to evaluate project risks and recovery strategies.
• Assist with contingency planning in collaboration with Project Management and Project Controls.
• Identify critical path activities, schedule constraints, and potential delays while helping drive timely resolution.
• Track action items and communicate schedule-related issues across cross-functional teams.
• Prepare routine scheduling reports and other project documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• Two to five years of project scheduling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Experience supporting engineering, industrial, construction, mining, or heavy equipment projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of mining and/or bulk material handling projects is preferred.
• Stable employment history with demonstrated professional continuity is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Experience developing and maintaining resource-loaded project schedules.
• Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Experience with schedule forecasting and progress analysis.
• Schedule baseline management experience.
• Project reporting and documentation skills.

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive compensation ranging from $80,000 to $115,000 annually.
