·       Junior Attorneys (1–2 years’ experience): $120K–$140K base salary

Job Description

The client is an expanding California workers’ compensation defense law firm with a strong statewide presence. Recognized as a Great Place to Work from 2021 through 2025 and a multiple Best Places to Work award recipient.

Key Responsibilities

·       Represent clients in workers’ compensation proceedings

·       Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents

·       Attend hearings and depositions

·       Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

·       Effectively manage time and follow firm procedures

·       Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

·       Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues

Required Skills and Qualifications

·       Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

·       Active membership in the California State Bar

·       Workers’ compensation defense experience preferred

·       Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and develop solutions

·       Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Superior organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills
