Job Description

 Manage a civil litigation caseload from notice of appearance through resolution, including trial when
needed
 Develop litigation strategy, case themes, and practical settlement posture in partnership with firm
leadership
 Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other substantive filings
 Drive discovery, including written discovery, depositions (parties, experts, third parties), and evidence
review
 Prepare clients and witnesses, and present at hearings, mediations, and trials
 Negotiate and document settlements and help clients execute settlement terms
 Communicate clearly with clients and maintain organized, deadline driven case management

Qualifications

 6+ years of civil litigation experience
 Proven motion practice experience (drafting and arguing)
 Able to handle matters through trial, or very close to it, with partner oversight
 Strong writing, organization, and client communication skills
 Admission in Washington State, or ability to become licensed promptly
 Trial experience is a big plus
 Employment law experience is a big plus
