Job Description:

 Collaborate with developers, traders, and quantitative researchers to ensure the stability and
performance of trading systems and core infrastructure.
 Design, build, and maintain automation for workflows, data pipelines, and system operations.
 Create tools that improve system reliability, observability, and operational efficiency.
 Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, networks, and operating systems in
production and staging environments.
 Deploy and configure applications using configuration management and infrastructure-as-code
tools.
 Manage containerized environments and support deployments to on-premises and co-located data
centers.
 Support database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning as part of overall system
health.
 Implement and refine logging, metrics, and alerting to ensure rapid issue detection and response.
 Document systems, procedures, and runbooks to support repeatable, high-quality operations.
 Participate in on-call or rotation-based support for critical trading hours as needed.

Qualifications:

 2+ years of full-time, professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a
similar high-performance technology role.
 Proven experience troubleshooting application, networking, and operating system issues in
production environments.
 Strong proficiency with both Windows and Linux, comfortable working in command-line and
GUI environments.
 Solid scripting skills in one or more languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby.
 Experience with containerization technologies, databases, and observability best practices.
 Familiarity with data formats including JSON, XML, and Parquet.
 Ability to manage shifting priorities, handle pressure, and communicate clearly with multiple
teams.
 Detail-oriented mindset with a strong emphasis on documentation and process.
 Ability to work on-site in the Chicago office and lift up to 50 pounds when required.
