This company, a global leader in safety-critical automotive technology, is looking for a Customer Quality
Engineer for their new, thriving facility. In this position, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to the
internal team. This includes planning, supporting, and implementing changes based on your direct
interface with the customer.

Position Description

Working directly with the OEM customer, you’ll design, specify, and install quality control sampling
systems, testing mechanisms, and equipment for global programs. You’ll also play a key role in
formulating quality control policies/procedures, along with developing quality standards.
Other responsibilities include:
 Provide support for customer issues, making sure they’re championed for quick, accurate issue
resolution and customer satisfaction.
 Assure that quality systems meet or exceed IATF16949 standards within the division, along with
planning and implementing total quality programs.
 Define the scope, plan, organize, and direct technical work related to quality engineering
activities.
 Serve as a liaison and coordinate internal and external resources.
 Initiate action to overcome obstacles as they are encountered and prevent quality problems.
 Investigates and solves manufacturing-related problems in assigned area.
 Manage monthly reporting and KPI’s in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4+ years of experience in advanced quality engineering.
 Solid background in automotive electronics manufacturing.
 Stellantis experience is strongly preferred. Other OEMs are acceptable for those with an
accomplished track record in large/complex automotive electronics projects.
 Excellent experience in customer portal and scorecard management.
 Good knowledge of AIAG core tools, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part
Approval Process submissions, Geometric Dimensions & Tolerancing, Flow Diagrams, FMEA’s,
Control Plans, Statistics, and fixture development based on part GD&T.
 Prior experience with IATF 16949 processes, conducting root cause analysis, and with cross
functional teams.
 Excellent communication skills, especially with demanding OEM customers.
