Warehouse Manager based out of our Des Moines, IA Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and
produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11

This is a position that will require you to oversee Inbound receiving and Outbound shipping. This
position will be hands on working as needed. The warehouse manager will work a split shift schedule to
have involvement with the inbound and outbound shift. This position will report to the Director of Operations.
The Warehouse Manager will have all supervisors and managers days and nights reporting to him. This role is
responsible for assigning tasks as necessary to ensure that work is complete and proper usage of available
resources. This role will assist in shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in
merchandise. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse managerial experience, collaborate effectively
and professionally with the team, and will lead by example.
Pay: $70,000 – $90,000 depending on qualifications
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00am-8:00PM

What we look for:
 High school diploma or GED preferred with 2-4 years of related experience
 Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
 3+ years of management experience is preferred
 Must be a self-directed individual with the ability to read and interpret company documents,
maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
 Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations and work in a fast paced and rapidly growing
distribution environment
 Obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days

What you’ll do:
 SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow all
safety guidelines
 Interview potential new team members and manage a team of warehouse employees
 Must be willing to adjust work schedule as needed.
 Responsible for maintaining a warehouse that is accessible and safe for company personnel and LFF
visitors
 Responsible for reading pick tickets and/or requisitions to select and assemble product for customer
orders.
 Implement established food safety practices throughout all warehouse employees
 Required to stand and walk for extended periods, to push/pull, lift/carry, or exert force of up to 75 lbs.
