Job Description:

provides a wide range of services such as accounting, assurance, business valuation, incentives, tax,
technology, and more.

Position Title: Tax Manager Location: Remote
Responsibilities:

• Manage and review tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of small to large-sized clients.
• Prepare and review tax provisions, including ASC 740 and SSAP 101 compliance.
• Assist with and review complex consolidated tax returns, including those involving
  combined/unitary states.
• Lead tax research and consulting projects, providing expertise and assistance in preparing tax
  opinion letters.
• Provide effective and timely feedback, mentoring, and guidance to tax staff.
• Actively participate in business development events to build client relationships and grow the
  firm’s presence.
  Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Licensed CPA or CPA eligible.
• 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience in tax.
• Proficiency in corporate tax return preparation and tax issues, with a working knowledge of
  consolidated return issues (federal and state).
• Preferred experience with insurance tax.
• Strong problem-solving and client-relationship management skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with and learn from team members.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear and concise writing and verbal abilities.
