Job Description
A highly regarded accounting and consulting firm is seeking a Tax Director to join its team in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities
 Lead and manage tax engagements, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely preparation of client
deliverables.
 Advise clients on complex tax matters, providing strategic guidance to optimize tax outcomes.
 Supervise and mentor tax staff, fostering their development and ensuring adherence to professional
standards.
 Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
 Conduct technical tax reviews and oversee compliance with tax laws and regulations.
 Represent clients during audits and examinations, effectively communicating with taxing authorities.
 Participate in the firm’s practice development efforts through networking, referrals, and community
involvement.

Qualifications
 8+ years of public accounting experience with increasing tax complexity and responsibility.
 Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising tax professionals.
 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
 A current and valid CPA license is mandatory.
 Strong technical knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and planning.
 Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
