Company Information

 Stable, growing business developing products critical to our energy infrastructure. They’re
making smart grid concepts a reality.
 They’re large enough for growth opportunities, though still at a size where you have access to key
decision makers, giving you the ability to make a difference.
 Located in an excellent area for quality of life thanks to a strong economy, good schools, a
walkable downtown, and strong sense of community.

Position Description

In this position, you’ll develop and maintain automated test solutions for production of their network

programming, you’ll also use data to improve test processes and optimize test performance. When issues
arise, you’ll troubleshoot them to shrink downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

This includes:

loading firmware into PCBAs, calibrating meters, verifying metrology accuracy, performing
functional and final testing, and inspecting assembled components using vision hardware and
software.
 Design and interact with database tables (primarily in MS-SQL) to manage manufacturing and
test data, generate reports, identify issues, and drive improvement initiatives.
 Enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce Total Manufacturing Cost (TMC)
by analyzing test processes, equipment, and code, identifying issues, and implementing
improvements.
 Provide onsite and remote technical support to resolve issues with test systems (equipment and
applications), minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient manufacturing operations.
 Collaborate with R&D teams to define testing objectives and methods for New Product
Introduction (NPI) programs.

Qualifications

 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with
4+ years of experience in test equipment software development.
 Strong background with C# and C++ (Object Oriented Programming – OOP) for devices.
 Solid background using MS-SQL or other database systems for data analysis, interpretation, and
manipulation.
 A background setting up and troubleshooting test equipment hardware is a plus.
 Proven ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with multiple teams.
