Job Description:

This company, a global leader in automotive safety technology, is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer
to develop infrared-based thermal imaging systems for the next generation of active safety products.

Position Description

In this position, you’ll work with all the engineering disciplines (software, hardware, mechanical,
etc.) to develop requirements for next generation thermal imaging systems used for active safety and
autonomous driving applications. You’ll use your knowledge of this technology to break down
product requirements for individual disciplines. From there, you’ll work through the entire
development life cycle, including design and testing, to make sure the final product meets
expectations.

Responsibilities include:

 Perform data analysis on test results using various tools, support vehicle/product tests, and
thermal camera testing on the bench.
 Develop test plans and cases at the vehicle and product level.
 Mentoring junior-level engineers and peers in other disciplines.
 Create test reports for internal and customer requirements.
 Problem solve systems-level issues as they arise in testing.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8+ years of industry
experience.
 In-depth background in infrared thermal imaging systems development.
 Proven ability to develop requirements for software, hardware, mechanical, and validation
teams.
 Experience leading projects through the full development life-cycle, including
troubleshooting of issues that arise during testing.
 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with engineering teams internally
and at the customer.
