Job Description:
Sanitation Supervisor, 3rd shift
Hours 10pm – 6am Wed – Sun.

Report To: Sanitation Manager

In this role you will:
 Plan and direct the activities of sanitation personnel during a work shift
 Ensure cleaning standards are maintained and prevent product contamination
 Conduct inspections and initiate corrective action as needed
 Pest control application as needed
 Ensure reports are properly maintained and completed timely
 Evaluate job performance of sanitation personnel and take corrective action as needed
 Ensure proper training of sanitation personnel to follow work policies and procedures
 Assist in the daily evaluation of product quality to ensure compliance with established standards
 Ensure a safe operation in compliance with all plant safety prevention programs
 Comply with all collective bargaining agreements to foster positive employee relations
 Cooperate with engineering and production departments with required maintenance of equipment
and facilities
 Perform other duties relating to the efficient operation as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
 High school diploma or equivalent
 4 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment
 People Management skills
 Willing to work flexible hours
 Work with cleaning and chemical agents and wear required PPE on a regular basis

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
 Bachelor’s Degree, Food Science or Microbiology
 Leadership experience
 Capable of teaching, training, and sharing technical knowledge to operations employees
 Effective Oral and Written Communication
 Computer knowledge specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
