Job Description:

This company, a global leader in safety-critical automotive technology, is looking for a Production
Quality Manager for their new, thriving facility. They’re already operating well and need someone who
can take it to the next level in regard to production total quality standards. In this position, you’ll lead a
team of quality technicians (3-5), providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement and
eliminate defects in automotive electronics manufacturing.

Position Description
You will lead/develop a team of technicians, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root
cases of quality issues, develop corrective action plans, and monitor implementation. You’ll also take a
lead role in leveling up the team’s quality practices, by developing/implementing standards, procedures,
and guidelines.
Other responsibilities include:
 Production quality metrics and DPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
 Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
 Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex quality issues.
 Lead problem solving activities, using tools such as Six Sigma, Shainin, PDCA, and 8D.
 Train employees on quality standards, processes, and tools.
 Monitor attendance, performance reviews, vacation requests, etc.
Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 7+ years of experience in production quality engineering in
an automotive manufacturing environment (2+ years in leadership).
 Experience with electronics/PCB production (SMT).
 A strong understanding of quality standards, quality tools (such as Fishbone), and problem-
solving techniques (such as 5 Whys).
 Proven ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to multitask,
prioritize responsibilities, troubleshoot, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
