Job Description:

A leading Water Design Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is seeking a Process Engineer with expertise in
water treatment plant design and project management.

Responsibilities
The Process Engineer will lead projects from conceptual planning to bid-ready documents, which
includes:

• Facility and equipment layouts
• Design calculations
• Equipment vendor coordination
• Management of support disciplines
• Coordination with regional offices and regulatory agencies
• Performing quality reviews of design work
  Design Responsibilities:
• Lead evaluations, selections, and implementation of drinking water processes
• Detail design of water treatment processes such as:
  o Conventional treatment (coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation)
  o Conventional and advanced filtration systems
  o Membrane systems
  o Conventional and advanced disinfection systems
  o Pump selection and pump station design
  o Chemical storage and feed systems
  o Piping and instrumentation drawing production
• Prepare specifications and contract documents
• Support construction projects, including oversight of construction drawings and 3D models
  
  Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or biosystems/biological
  engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of direct design experience with municipal water plants
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
