Job Description:
As the Plant Finance Manager, you will lead all financial operations at the plant level, ensuring accurate
reporting, effective cost control, and compliance with corporate financial policies. You will serve as a key
strategic partner to plant leadership, driving efficiency, profitability, and sustainable practices through
sound financial management and guidance. This hands-on role will work closely with operations and
cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of plant financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial
reporting.
Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement strategies for improving operational and
financial performance.
Conduct ROI analysis on capital investments and major projects to ensure effective resource
utilization.
Maintain and monitor product standard costs, ensuring alignment with actual production costs.
Analyze cost variances and collaborate with operations to identify and implement cost-saving
opportunities.
Establish and uphold operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain
compliance.
Interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process and cost
improvements.
Lead and support special projects focused on innovation and productivity, including technology
and system enhancements.
Track and report greenhouse gas emissions in compliance with the GHG Protocol, supporting
sustainability goals.
Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Provide training and guidance to plant staff on financial principles and practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing
environment.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of financial planning, cost accounting, and operational finance.
Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead initiatives and collaborate effectively across departments.
