Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and oversee
our client’s manufacturing engineering team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have
expertise in manufacturing processes, quality control, and cross-functional team leadership, with a focus on
innovation, efficiency, and safety. This position is critical in ensuring that our products are manufactured to the
highest standards while maintaining cost efficiency and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, ensuring that performance, development, and
training needs are met. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
Design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for wireless and safety-related
products. Ensure processes are efficient, scalable, and align with safety regulations.
Product Design Collaboration:
Work closely with product design, R&D, and quality teams to review and improve manufacturability,
ensuring designs are optimized for production and cost efficiency.
Manufacturing Support:
Provide ongoing support for production teams, troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues to
ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure all manufacturing processes meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal
quality metrics. Develop and maintain comprehensive testing and inspection protocols.
Cost Management:
Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to manage production budgets and identify cost-
saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Supply Chain Collaboration:
Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials and
efficient production schedules.
Safety & Environmental Standards:
Promote and ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations within the
manufacturing process.
Continuous Learning & Innovation:
Stay up-to-date on the latest manufacturing technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Implement new technologies to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or
a related field. Master’s degree preferred
10 years of experience electronics manufacturing
3-5 years of Engineering Management
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
Lead initiatives to bring in new technologies and oversee capital projects to deliver gains in
productivity, capacity, efficiency, and quality
Experience with wireless communications devices, safety equipment, or related technologies.
Certifications in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or PMP (Project Management Professional).
Experience in automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
