Job Description:

This company, an established, growing developer of intelligent lighting and utility
technology, is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer looking to get their
career started on the right foot. In this position, you’ll develop embedded systems
for next generation products. You’ll work closely with an experienced engineer, who
will serve as your mentor as you develop your industry experience.
This is an ON-SITE position, not remote.

Position Description

In this position, you’ll design, develop, diagnose and test software, firmware and
hardware created for wireless system controllers. The product contains several
embedded processors, analog and digital IO, an audio amplifier, and a power supply.
You’ll work the full development lifecycle, from concept to production release.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their embedded
software career. You’ll work hand-in-hand with an experienced engineer who will
teach you the ropes and expand your skill set.

Qualifications

 BSEE/CE with either 1+ years of experience, which can include internships,
co-ops, or industry projects from your degree. We can also consider a non-
degreed candidate with good practical knowledge in embedded systems.
 Solid experience in embedded C/C++ development.
 Knowledge of Linux OS (Embedded Linux) is preferred.
 Familiarity with Git/GitLab, Wired/wireless network protocols, and code
development tools (compilers, debuggers, etc.).
 Proven ability to problem solve and learn on the fly.
