Job description:
Are you a strategic leader passionate about fostering a culture of learning and growth? We’re looking for a
Director of Global Learning & Development to drive innovative training strategies that empower employees at
all levels—both technically and as leaders. In this role, you’ll shape impactful learning initiatives, collaborate
with domestic and global stakeholders to enhance organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a global learning strategy aligned with business goals and company culture.
Design innovative programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance.
Partner with senior leadership to identify key learning priorities and drive company-wide growth.
Program Development & Training Delivery
Lead the creation of domestic and global training programs, including leadership development,
technical skills, and compliance training.
Leverage diverse learning methods: in-person workshops, e-learning, blended learning, and on-the-job
training.
Ensure training programs are culturally relevant and accessible for a diverse workforce.
Utilize advanced learning technologies, including LMS platforms, gamification, simulations, and
virtual reality, to enhance engagement.
Performance & Impact Measurement
Conduct skill assessments to identify training needs and gaps.
Establish clear metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI.
Analyze learning data and provide actionable insights to continuously improve programs.
Report progress and impact to senior leadership.
Global Collaboration & Team Leadership
Partner with regional HR leaders and business units to ensure consistent implementation of training
initiatives.
Build relationships with external training vendors and consultants to enhance program offerings.
Compliance & Best Practices
Ensure all training programs meet legal and regulatory requirements across different regions.
Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in learning and development.
Regularly update training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a
related field.
10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in designing and executing training programs, including for hourly employees.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and learning technologies.
Experience facilitating training sessions for groups ranging from small to large in size.
Ability to travel internationally as needed.
