Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Director of Business Development to lead our
expansion efforts within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in sales and business development, with a proven history of
success in the oil and gas markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth within the oil
and gas industry.
Identify and exploit new business opportunities by cultivating relationships
with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Maintain and grow a robust network of industry contacts to facilitate strategic
alliances and business opportunities.
Lead the sales team in devising and executing sales strategies that exceed
revenue targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of top-tier service
quality to our clients.
Monitor market trends and competitive activities to stay ahead of industry
developments.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to
prospective clients.
Oversee sales performance, providing detailed reports and insights to senior
management.
Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and trade
shows to promote our services and enhance brand recognition.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a
related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales and business development,
particularly within the oil and gas industry.
Demonstrated ability to meet and surpass sales targets.
In-depth understanding of the oil and gas industry and its key players.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven capability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry
stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a sales team.
Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and industry events
