Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Business Development to spearhead our
growth initiatives within the off-highway and truck industry. The ideal candidate will have a
robust background in sales and business development, underscored by a proven track record of
success within this niche market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business expansion in the off-highway
and truck industry.
Identify and seize new business opportunities by building relationships with key
decision-makers and influencers in the sector.
Maintain and enhance a strong network of industry contacts to support business
development and collaborative opportunities.
Lead and motivate the sales team to develop and implement effective sales
strategies that surpass revenue goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our
clients.
Keep abreast of market trends and competitive activities to stay ahead in the
industry.
Craft and present compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts to
potential clients.
Manage sales performance metrics, providing comprehensive reports to senior
management.
Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and trade shows to
enhance brand recognition and promote services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related
field.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales and business development, specifically
within the off-highway and truck industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Deep understanding of the off-highway and truck industry and its major players.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry
partners.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing sales teams.
Expert in strategic planning and execution.
Willingness to travel as needed for client interactions and industry-specific events
