Job Description:
Our client seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to spearhead our expansion within the medical
device industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a
proven track record of success in medical device markets or related healthcare sectors for engineering services.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement strategic growth plans to expand our presence in the
medical device industry.
· Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through building and
nurturing relationships with key industry stakeholders.
· Maintain and grow a robust network of medical device contacts to facilitate
partnerships and business opportunities.
· Lead the sales team in creating and executing strategies that consistently
surpass revenue targets.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure top-quality service delivery to
clients within the medical device space.
· Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to stay
ahead of developments in the medical device field.
· Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to
prospective clients.
· Oversee sales performance and provide detailed reports and actionable
insights to senior management.
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to
promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a
related field.
· Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales and business development,
particularly within the medical device industry or healthcare-related sectors.
· Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
· Deep understanding of the medical device industry, market dynamics, and
key players.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and
industry stakeholders.
· Leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and
motivating a sales team.
· Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
· Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events as
necessary.
