Job Description

Our client is looking for a responsible 2nd shift CNC Swiss/Lathe Machinist –
Supervisor. To qualify for this position you must have been a supervisor for a 1 yr or
have been working with a Lathe /Swiss machinist.

 The Supervisor your responsible for overseeing all functions of the
department.
 Must be able to program, set up, and operate CNC Swiss equipment located
in the CNC Swiss Department (Citizen & Tsugami Swiss) equipment.
 Identify parts with incomplete or missing control plans.
 Train and monitor Set Up Operators and Tenders in the department. Train all
personnel on 1 st piece and in-process inspection.
 Ensure employees follow all company safety rules, and report any unsafe acts
to immediate supervisor.
 Design and develop capable manufacturing processes in a Lean environment.
Generate detailed procedures and work instructions as required.
 Perform and interpret process capability studies, and implement
improvements as required.
 Recommend and substantiate process and product changes. Program CNC
Swiss Machines and troubleshoot CNC processes.
 Ensure that 5S is completed as required within the CNC Swiss and Lathe
Departments. Perform line walks for Swiss and Lathe areas.
 Perform any other duties.

Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience Minimum of 5 years setup experience
on CNC machines
Should be analytical and have troubleshooting skills Must be familiar with machine
adjustments (Feeds, speeds, offsets, etc.)
