Job Description:

Our client is a leading player in the aerospace industry, dedicated to innovation,
precision, and quality. They are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join
their team and contribute to the design and manufacturing of high-precision
aerospace components.

Job Summary
The Aerospace CNC Programmer will develop, implement, and maintain CNC
programs to produce high-quality aerospace components with tight tolerances. This
role requires expertise in CNC programming, machining operations, and a strong
understanding of aerospace industry standards. The ideal candidate is detail-
oriented, highly technical, and has experience with a range of CNC machines and
software.

Key Responsibilities
 CNC Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs for aerospace
components, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
 Machining Operations: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery,
adjusting programs and machine settings as necessary to ensure precision
and quality.
 Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical blueprints, CAD
models, and engineering drawings to understand component specifications
and tolerances.
 Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve programming
processes to reduce cycle time, improve efficiency, and minimize waste.
 Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on finished products, ensuring
they meet industry standards and client specifications. Identify and correct
any programming issues affecting quality.
 Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams
to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
 Documentation: Maintain accurate records of program revisions, tooling,
and machining processes for future reference and compliance.

Qualifications
 Education: Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related
field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:
 3+ years of experience in CNC programming, specifically in aerospace
manufacturing.
 Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, CATIA, NX, or
equivalent).
 Technical Skills:
 Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming.
 In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling and
turning.
 Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and
AS9100 standards.
 Soft Skills:
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional
teams.
 Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous
improvement.

Preferred Qualifications
 Certification: CNC Programming certification or related credentials.
 Software Knowledge: Proficiency in advanced CNC software packages and
CAD/CAM programming for complex aerospace parts.
 Experience: Prior experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment
or familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards.
