Job Description:
Agrichemical manufacturer is seeking a lead project manager for overseeing projects from conception to
commissioning, ensuring cost efficiency and top-quality product outcomes. Serve as a central point of
contact for project economics and facilitate technical collaboration between project, operations, and
regulatory teams.
Responsibilities:
–Drive projects from conception to startup, focusing on large continuous chemical operations.
–Advocate for projects with the commercial team, providing key economic insights.
–Liaise between project, operations, maintenance, and EH&S groups to incorporate operational and
regulatory requirements into project designs.
–Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and oversee engineering and construction
contractors.
–Ensure incorporation of “Lessons Learned” into current and future projects.
–Participate in budget, status, and management meetings, providing input and issue resolution.
–Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, applying and enforcing project standards.
–Minimize project risk by developing and monitoring risk registers throughout project development and
execution.
–Ensure completeness, currency, and appropriate storage of project documents.
Qualifications
–BS Engineering from ABET accredited university w/ 10 years project management and 15 years
operating experience within a chemical manufacturing facility.
–Certifications PE, PMP, PMI, etc. are a plus.
–AACE international estimating practices a plus.
–Knowledge of applicable codes / industry regulations for natural gas facilities (ASME, NEC, etc.)
–Proficiency in project scheduling software, MS Office, SAP, AutoCad, SolidWorks, and other relevant
industry software.
–Experience in large-scale capital projects and ability to manage multiple projects.
–Someone who has worked on-site at a manufacturing or industrial plant, directly managing projects.
–Someone who has led capital investment projects at the plant level, such as installing new
equipment, facility expansions, or infrastructure upgrades
–Ability to work now or in the future without sponsorship.
