Job Description

Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for CNC machines? We are seeking an enthusiastic Applications
Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for part programming of CNC machines,
process development, and customer training in a manufacturing environment. If you have a strong background
in CNC machining and enjoy working directly with customers, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
 Program CNC machines and develop processes to meet customer requirements.
 Conduct pre-sale activities, including customer visits, machine assessments, and part processing
recommendations.
 Set up and train customers on Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes, as well as CNC vertical or horizontal
mills.
 Provide customer support via phone and travel to customer sites as needed.
 Interpret part prints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.
 Create time studies and perform first part run-offs.
 Align and interface bar feed units.
 Occasionally travel to Mexico and Canada for customer support and training.

Qualifications & Skills:
 5+ years of experience with CNC machines, with preference for experience with Swiss screw
machines for CNC lathe programming.
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
 High School diploma or equivalent; some college courses preferred.
 Occasional international travel to Canada and Mexico may be required.
 Experience with Citizen and Miyano machines is helpful.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
